Information
AC Resins Deep Crystal Cast epoxy resin is a transparent casting epoxy resin system specifically designed for deep casting, being ideal for resin river tables, casting, embedding and potting. AC Resins Deep Crystal Cast provides an extended pot life with a low exothermic reaction, making it suitable for casting more significant and thicker parts. Deep Crystal Cast resin has minimal bubbles with excellent bubble dispersion and low shrinkage, allowing for ease of use.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Pot Life 3-4 hours
Shelf Life Recommended to use the resin within 1 year after opening bottles; stored away from direct sunlight and kept in cool, dry environment.
Cure time: 48 – 72 hours (varies depending on thickness)
Casting: allows this product to do deep casting up to 55mm in large quantities without generating exothermic heat.

- Low VOC’s
- Slow Curing and Good mould flow
*Please read all instructions before starting!
- AC Resins Deep Crystal Cast is a 2:1 ratio by volume resin system (2:1 – Resin: Hardener by Volume). Measuring and mixing must be accurate to achieve the best results, mixing quantity – the more you mix, the fast it cures and vice versa. The ratio cannot be changed as this will result in the resin not curing correctly and/or lowering the physical properties.
- Room Temperature (higher room temperature will speed up the curing)
- Mixing ratio: 2:1 (2 Parts A and 1 Part B by volume)
- Application temperature: Wide temperature range through summer to winter
- Pot life: 3-4 hours (Data based on 500ml mixing; 40mm pour depth; 20 degree C room temperature). Please pour this product into mould as soon as possible, to avoid bubbling.
- Time to reach non-tacky: 15-25 hrs Depending on the room temperature (Data based on 500ml mixing; 40mm pour depth)
- Time to reach full cure: 72 hrs (Data based on 500ml mixing; 40mm pour depth)
- Compatibility: Binding to metal, inorganic materials including cement; stone, natural materials including wood; particle board, most plastics except polyethylene, polypropylene, EPDM.
- Shelf life: 12 months
